Dental extractions can be required when a tooth has been broken by trauma or decay to the point where it cannot be repaired with a filling or crown. Wisdom teeth (third molars) often partially come through into the mouth and get stuck due to lack of space (impaction). In many cases an impacted wisdom tooth can lead to recurrent infection and pain and may require removal. Jonathan accepts referrals for difficult extractions and wisdom teeth from his colleagues.
